Bullying, Cyber bullying, Sexting and the Responsible Use of Social Media with Carol Todd

Peace River School Division has invited Carol Todd to provide school based and community presentations regarding bullying, cyber-bullying, online safety, social media and sexting. Carol Todd lost her daughter, Amanda, in 2012 when she took her own life in response to cyber bullying and harassment. Carol is a parent, an educator, and since Amanda's passing, she serves a greater awareness of online risks and is passionate to help keep youth safe online. School presentations are open to grades 8-12 students. A letter and consent form has been sent to PRSD families. These presentations are open to all community members.
Peace Region: October 2nd, 2017 at Grimshaw Public School, 7 pm
Manning Area: October 3rd, 2017 at Paul Rowe Jr/Sr High School, 7 pm
Fairview Area: October 4th, 2017 at Fairview High School, 7 pm
